Talking about Money: Discussing remuneration and fees with more confidence
Most successful professionals have found that one of the most powerful shifts they made in their professional lives was how they spoke about their fees or remuneration. A few simple skills can add thousands to annual income, for a minimum of extra effort.
At the same time, we all work in an economy where purchasers (and organisations) have become equally adept at containing costs. So what do you need to learn to obtain more value from the hours that you work?
In this session, John Niland (www.vco-global.com) will give examples of the common pitfalls to avoid. Using real-life case studies, he will demonstrate how professionals can dramatically increase their income by learning some basic conversation skills around money
Target audience
- Professionals who feel diffident talking about remuneration
- Independent professional who need to negotiate fees
