2020 was the year in which we learned to live with a pandemic. In 2021 we will be transitioning back to the workplace, but how, nobody knows yet.
Women were impacted more than men by the pandemic, by having to take on childcare, household chores on top of their jobs, by losing their jobs or even their joy of life.
By contrast, it was also recognized that “Countries with women in leadership have suffered six times fewer confirmed deaths from Covid-19 than countries with governments led by men… Because women need to work harder to persuade others that they have the leadership talent it takes, they end up being more qualified and more talented when they are selected for leadership roles.” *HBR, June 2020.
In her work with clients Jessica J.J. Lutz often notices how womens’ tendency to sacrifice their own needs and ambitions in order to do good, can erode their authenticity. She helps her clients go back to their core and reach an inner calm and power. That results in more presence, focus, high resilience and gravitas.
