Digital Transformation Connect Event


PWI STEAM program, in partnership with Deloitte, proposes 4 events around subjects very much top of mind for today's business professionals: Digital Transformation, Sustainability, Supply Chain and Innovation. 

Through the experience of a number of professionals with different backgrounds and career paths, these events will provide you with an overview of how a career in STEAM looks like, and how you can make your first steps towards it.  

DIGITAL TRANSFORMATION CONNECT EVENT is the second event from this series.

Here are the speakers of this event:  

Loubna Azghoud (SPEAKER)

Loubna is an expert in the digital economy, gender equality, and business strategies. She runs her company Innovation Valley with the goal to give access to entrepreneurship support for everyone. She holds a master’s degree in Political Economics from UCL and an Executive Master's in Management from Solvay Business School.

In 2016, she founded Women in Tech.Brussels, the first women-focused tech ecosystem in Europe, with the goal of empowering women to start their own businesses, increasing the female presence in the innovation sector, and promoting their inclusion in the workplace.

Loubna is also a member of "WeGate," a European Commission platform that supports female entrepreneurs and facilitates the exchange of best practices between European countries. In 2021, she launched the We Are Founders program at BeCentral, a 9-month fast track for starting a start-up. Recently, she joined Enabel, the Belgian International Cooperation to support female entrepreneurs in Africa.

Marleen Thorré (SPEAKER)

Marleen is an active member of European Women on Boards and an experienced professional in IT.  She has led several transformational and digital projects in different industries especially ERP related. 

She acts as CDO and Program manager with a proven record of  +20 years in digital transformations with worldwide teams in SME’s and global companies. 

Her expertise is to design digital strategies, roadmaps and operational plans to meet future business needs.  She has a high drive to realize competitive advantages and make the organization successful. 

Emilie Lens (SPEAKER)

Following her studies in applied economics at KU Leuven, Emilie joined Deloitte in September 2013 within SAP Process Excellence.

After 4 years within the Deloitte Belgium practice, Emilie took up a 2-year transfer within Deloitte US in San Francisco. Emilie is currently a Senior Manager as part of the SAP GTS team in Belgium.

During her different global projects, Emilie has extended her knowledge in the compliance, customs & trade preference functionalities in SAP GTS including a worldwide S/4 HANA deployment integrated with SAP GTS 11.0. She has strong communication skills (she speaks four languages, Dutch, French, English and Spanish), client facing skills, is flexible and committed to deliver high-quality results.

Rhonda A. Ocha (MODERATOR) Non-profit Advisory Board member l Public Speaker l Mentor

Rhonda has lived in Belgium for over 30 years and has over four decades of business experience with leading global companies, including 25 years with Mastercard Europe.

Her career includes management roles in business development and key account sales within the transportation, IT and financial technology industries.

She has extensive experience in leading cross-functional global and virtual teams to sell, deliver and implement innovative, complex, multi-market digital products and services in the US and Europe.

Speaker, mentor and influencer, she is a passionate change agent to promote gender balanced leadership, diversity and equity.
