How Attitude, Motivation and Emotional Intelligence matter in the Workplace?

Having the right work attitude and motivation means fitting into the organizational culture and liking the job.
These factors can determine up to 60% of job performance
Another important factor is one's emotional intelligence. A survey with over 20.000 participants in Flanders indicates that people higher in the hierarchy of an organization score better for Emotional Intelligence skills such as knowledge of their own emotions, but also self-confidence, positive thinking, creativity and conflict resolution.

From this introduction, you will learn:
  • some building blocks from work attitude and motivation and their implications.
  • how this matters in communication
  • some simple techniques to work on your emotional intelligence
  • how HR approaches should be improved to take all of this into account
