The 8 March is a big day for women all around the world. At PWI Brussels we embrace this occasion to organise our special International Women's Day Gala.

Throughout the year, we organise events to support women on their professional path, help them grow and succeed, provide them with a safe space to share their experiences and learn from others, meet fellow professional women, and build their network and form a community of peers.

Our International Women's Day Gala is a unique moment in our event calendar: we meet to honour all women and men who advocate a more gender balanced world. We come together to celebrate success stories and to create together our vision for the future.

The format is as simple as it is glamorous: a gala dinner in a 5-star venue, where women and men are invited to reflect and exchange views on gender balanced leadership in today's world, inspired by the keynote speeches of our guest speakers, but it is also an occasion to relax, meet new people, enjoy the beautiful venue and good food and simply have fun. It is certainly a great occasion to enjoy a lovely evening with your friends and make new ones who share your values.

As we are planning the details for our 2020 Gala, please SAVE THE DATE and block your agendas to join us on 7 March 2020 for the PWI Brussels International Women's Day Gala! Details will follow but be prepared for a long night of celebrations!!

On 8 March 2019, we had the pleasure to welcome over 120 guests to our International Women’s Day Gala. We celebrated under the international these "BalanceforBetter, together with our excellent keynote speakers, Dagmar Schumacher, Director of UN Women Brussels' office, Rick Zednik, Managing Director at Women Political Leaders, and Anna-Kaisa Itkonen, European Commission's Spokesperson for Climate Action and Energy.

Two years ago, Alexander de Croo, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium opened the night with an inspiring keynote speech. The Gala was a festive moment to celebrate successes together and to inspire further work towards more gender balanced leadership under the international theme #PressForProgress. Check some photos from last year's event below.
