Second, by learning the art of persuasion: understanding how to influence others and save valuable energy that might otherwise be spent resolving conflicts.
In this workshop, you will:
Explore your long-term goals and define your personal purpose and values
Identify and understand the challenges of leadership with and without authority and how to use lateral leadership to promote and build partnerships
Understand the psychology of personal influence and how to hone your influencing skills effectively.
Recognize sources of conflict and the factors that foster collaboration
Identify the ethical boundaries between persuasion and manipulation and recognize integrity.
Learn how to motivate and inspire others, explore self awareness, recognize leadership styles and share ideas for self motivation and discipline.
During the session, we will combine exercises, reflection and theory. No preparation is required. You will get to know other participants and practice key interaction skills.

Our Speaker: Mirna Hidalgo
 Mirna is a trainer, group facilitator and certified coach. She specializes in teaching leadership skills, stress-management and burn-out prevention. Her clients include multinationals, she has lectured for multinational organizations including the UN and EU, and Mirna also teaches communication and negotiation skills to diplomats and professionals at the College of Europe’s Development Office. A fervent advocate for women realizing their professional and personal lifestyle dreams she co-founded the Digital Leadership Institute International and is a regular speaker at PWN’s Brussels chapter (PWI).
Before she became a personal development specialist and coach, Mirna spent nearly 20 years as a lawyer, negotiating multimillion transactions and leading international project teams. She is the former Head of Strategy at the Legal Division of Euroclear, and previously held the position of Vice President at JP Morgan Chase. She holds degrees in international and EU law, Competition Law and Economics. Mirna is also a certified dance instructor with 30 years of teaching and performing experience, creator of a method combining dance, yoga, Pilates and relaxation for physical strength and mental good shape and finally she is also a painter and studies Fine Arts at the Fine Arts Academy of Bruges. Having pursued all these diverse and varied interests and skills Mirna considers herself to be a “Renaissance Woman”.
