Why do we need collaboration?
A PWI STEAM Event

"We are not students of some subject matter, but students of problems. And problems may cut right across the borders of any subject matter or discipline".
                                                                       Karl Popper

The workshop

Today’s world calls for a collective effort, a collective intelligence, and collaborating across our existing domains. Shifting from "being an expert" to "having expertise and being a collaborator" is critical to work in the larger collaborative and generative space needed to address today's challenges. We also need the capacity to be daring. The capacity to step into the arena, fall, and stand up again. This is one of the hardest challenges around.

In this interactive workshop we will cover what you can do to take the first steps:

  1. Grow your skills in changing your personal "I am a ..." answer faster than your world demands you to change

  2. Having mastered logic and systems thinking, it is now time to master transformational thinking

  3. Become ever-more subtle in how you work with yourself, and your personal psychological idiosyncrasies.

Now is the right time to develop these capacities so that we can collaborate powerfully without our ego getting in our way, to succeed in our complex, volatile world.

We look forward to welcoming you to this workshop!

Our speaker: Graham Boyd, CEO & Founder, evolutesix

Graham has lived a life of complexity and change. He has put this to use over the past ten years, helping organisations and their staff succeed by integrating cutting-edge approaches to leadership and organisational development. His clients range from traditional multinationals to cutting-edge startups in currencies and consulting.

Prior to that he worked for Procter and Gamble in Brussels and China in R&D management, after a career in particle physics research. He has lived for 1 to 6 years in each of Germany, Italy, Japan, Belgium and the UK since leaving South Africa. All of these changes have changed dramatically who he thinks he is.
