PWI Brussels and Women in International Security Brussels (WIIS Brussels) have the pleasure to invite you to a joint event: Political is Personal - Women's Voices in Israel - Palestine.
The Israeli-Palestinian conflict is very complex, and as with many others societal problems around the world, the voices of women are not - or insufficiently - being heard. Sarah Arnd Linder, a francophone Danish Jew, who has lived in Israel for 11 years, is the founder of Political is Personal – PiP – an initiative of in-depth interviews conducted with Israeli Jewish and Palestinian women. Sarah will present the voices of these women who share how their lives have been affected by the conflict.
You will have the opportunity to engage in an informal Q&A session with the founder of PiP and continue the conversation during the networking part of the event. We are extremely pleased to bring together two different networks of professional women – PWI Brussels and WIIS Brussels – and are looking forward to a fruitful and thought-provoking networking evening.
The event is free of charge and open to all.
Members and non-members are welcome to register to this event.
Drinks and food consumed are at participants’ own expense.
