Did you, like many of us, start 2011 thinking about 'getting things in order'? Are you one of those people who keeps saying 'one of these days, I'll sort out my finances' but never quite get around to doing anything about it?
Do you have a good pension scheme set up, do you have money sitting in the bank and not earning as much return as you would like? Will your loved ones be taken care of financially if anything were to happen to you? Why not join our workshop and find out concrete ways you can take control of your financial portfolio?
Melanie Barker, Senior Advisor, Fulcra International Financial Planning
Melanie Barker, senior advisor at Fulcra and a member of our events team at PWI, will lead the workshop. There will be an informal presentation and then the aim is to offer practical ways to maximise your own situation for both financial security and tax efficiency.
Many of you will be running your own small businesses while others are employees in Belgian or multi-national companies and this workshop will highlight the different needs and financial opportunities that result. We will also look at the longer term, wealth management, starting to plan for retirement and touch on the financial issues particular to the expat.
Drinks and snacks/canapes will be provided during the workshop.
