Volunteering and Professional Transition

  • 21 Jun 2018
  • 18:30 - 21:30
  • THON Hotel Bristol Stephanie, Avenue Louise 91-93, 1050 Bruxelles

We all know that career transition is not an easy path. It is a journey with ups and downs and stop-overs before reaching the final destination. Volunteering for an organisation can be a great way to more easily go through this process. It can help expand your skills and experience and make your profile more attractive to future employers. It can provide inspiration to identify a new professional direction. It can help you better cope emotionally and it is an excellent way to establish new professional relationships as well as friendships.

We will be learning directly from those who have walked the talk through an interactive discussion. In a safe and friendly atmosphere, women from various origins and backgrounds will share with PWI their volunteering experience and discuss what was for them the value added of volunteering while in professional transition.
