Christmas Market walking tour and networking event - Gent
After the success of the previous 2 Gent tours, we warmly invite you to Gent for our Christmas Market walking tour and networking event.
Christmas is when we chill down, celebrate with our loved ones, and review the year behind us. Gent is a great city to feel the vibe of holidays, and circumstances bring us back to years when the connection in person was more important than anything else. As PWI is a network of supportive women, having a Christmas Drink together in the city center of Gent would be a great match to start the festive period of the year-end season.
We plan the event as a relaxed, no strings attached event, and you can join whenever you like.
Last year we walked around Gent, stopped at some shops where some people bought beautiful Christmas presents for their loved ones, enjoyed a great espresso at an Italian Cafeteria, which still has the same interior as in the 60s. This year we plan the same: freely flowing together on the Market and stopping whenever we feel like it.
Meeting point: Korenmarkt, Gent, in front of McDonalds at 16.00.
Practicalities: If you come by car, you can park best at St Michiels Parking, Kouter Parking, or Interparking Korte Meer 22/B. But there is also a possibility at Vrijdasgsmarkt Parking, which is ca. 7 min. walking distance.
At Christmas time, parkings are full, and thus I recommend coming by train, which is 36 min from Brussels central, and then you can take the tram 1 directly to Korenmarkt.
