Networking Event: Stories of Empowerment and Encouragement

Join us for an evening of networking and inspiring stories of professional and personal growth.

AS A PWI-MEMBER, BRING A GUEST FOR FREE!

The events will begin with a story of a PWI-member, a journey of professional and personal growth. In listening to how others have overcome challenges, tackled hurdles and become more empowered in the process, we can learn that we are never alone and that so many others before us have paved the way.

We will take inspiration from the stories of resilience and strength, to create a supportive space where we can start to build connections with one another. We will end the evening with a networking session that will allow us to ask questions and get to know each other on a deeper level.

We are dedicated to creating an authentic atmosphere of inclusivity and connection. We want to create a space where everyone feels comfortable and inspired to share their stories and create meaningful conversations. We will provide a safe environment to connect, grow and be empowered by each other’s stories. We believe that by networking in an inspiring way, and by creating a supportive space, we can empower and encourage each other to reach our fullest potential.

Our guest speaker is Olga Rovira. Olga is the PWI member responsible for the launch and leadership of “Book Your Time”, the PWI Book Club created in 2023. She is also a mentor in PWI’s 2023-2024 mentoring program.

Olga has an academic background in Industrial Chemistry Engineering from the University of Zaragoza (Spain) and in Structural Molecular Biology from the University of London (UK). Her professional experience spans over 20 years in the biotechnological/pharmaceutical industry as part of both small biotech and large multinational corporations. Currently she is running KONTIVAX, her own consultancy company, where she acts as Regulatory Affairs Senior Consultant in the field of Vaccines.

Olga is a European citizen who lives with her family in Brussels. Music is one of her passions together with self-development. Running in green spaces or alongside the sea is her favourite routine exercise; she says it is beneficial for her physical and mental well-being. One of her beliefs: “education opens doors”. Olga is motivated to enhance women’s well-being in our society.

Olga has a myriad of powerful insights and inspiring stories to share.

We hope to see you there. Come join us for an evening of networking, empowerment and encouragement!!
