As we experience these challenging times, we can no longer rely on old practices  to take us  forward.  We need to identify more effective and productive ways of working if we are going to move quickly out of this economic position.

Europe needs the involvement of both its men and women: engaging and performing equally in the workplace and in the home. Without this joint and balanced approach it will be impossible to compete and grow with the rest of world.

There can be real benefit for men in realising the part they can play to boost business growth, by supporting women into the work place and their return after becoming parents.

Women need to speak up more assertively to their husbands and families, about their needs and aspirations to work, so that care in the home can be shared more equally.

Many micro businesses are looking to answer the question ‘How can we grow a business and support both parents?’ Those businesses, who take a more creative approach to parenthood: engaging both men and women, will  benefit immensely.
